A visit to your MacAlister Clan Center and Ancient Clan Lands is a ‘must do’ when you next visit Scotland. Western Scotland and the lands of the Lord of the Isles is where much of the history of Scotland was made and it is a delight to visit.

Jeanne Macalister, Dowager Madam Glenbarr, conducts daily tours from 11:00am to 4:00pm, Wednesday through Sunday. The Abbey is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. She serves tea in the gift shop where a great selection of MacAlister and predominantly Scottish giftwares are available. Sales from the gift shop and tours help to keep the doors open and the lights on. There is also limited accommodation within the Abbey, which is currently being refurbished, do ask for details.

Contact Jeanne Macalister for reservations. Include Glenbarr Abbey in your visit to Scotland.
